Paul Waaktaar-Savoy, the 57-year-old co-founder of Norwegian new wave band A-ha, and his wife composer-songwriter Lauren Savoy have purchased a newly constructed contemporary home in Venice for $5.125 million. The gated property spans nearly 11,000 square feet and includes approximately 5,900 square feet of living space with five bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, a swimming pool, and pool house. Interior features include a vaulted-ceiling living room, media room, office, wine vault, and three fireplaces. Waaktaar-Savoy co-wrote A-ha's 1984 hit "Take On Me" and has sold over 100 million records worldwide. He currently performs with his wife and drummer Frode Unneland in the band Savoy, which released an album last year.
