Mr. Beef, a Chicago Italian sandwich shop, will host a pop-up for its famous Italian beef sandwiches at Uncle Paulie's Deli in Los Angeles on July 19-20. The event is part of a collaboration with cookware brand HexClad. Chris Zucchero, the owner of Mr. Beef, and Courtney Storer, Culinary Director of "The Bear," will be present, serving homemade Italian ice. The show "The Bear," which stars Jeremy Allen White, is inspired by Mr. Beef, with about 90% of its pilot filmed at the establishment.
Fans of the hit Hulu show "The Bear" are going to want to get in line extra early and come hungry to this Los Angeles deli because one of Chicago's most iconic sandwiches, which inspired the show, will be popping-up here for just one weekend.
Beloved Chicago Italian sandwich shop Mr. Beef will be bringing its famous Italian beef sandwiches to Uncle Paulie's Deli at 8053 W. Third St, on July 19-20 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The pop-up, dubbed 'HexClad Serves Up: Mr. Beef At Uncle Paulie's Deli,' is a collaboration between cookware brand HexClad, the Deli and Mr. Beef.
According to Variety, 'The Bear' creator Christopher Storer has been friends with Zucchero since kindergarten and based 'The Bear' on the beloved sandwich shop and shot about 90% of the pilot in Mr. Beef.
