Alex Rodriguez takes in Timberwolves' NBA playoff win over Lakers with girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro
Briefly

Alex Rodriguez, alongside his girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro, enjoyed a victory where his team, the Timberwolves, triumphed over the Lakers in the NBA playoffs. Despite ongoing ownership disputes with Glen Taylor, who had attempted to derail the sale, recent arbitration favored Rodriguez and his partner Marc Lore, paving the way for full ownership of the Timberwolves. The change comes after Rodriguez's personal life saw transitions following his break-up with Jennifer Lopez and subsequent relationships, during which Cordeiro has positively influenced his health and fitness.
After Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez broke off their engagement in 2021, A-Rod dated Kathryne Padgett. The couple split in 2022 before he went public with Cordeiro in December of that year.
Rodriguez told The Post last year that Cordeiro was "a good influence" on him, helping him lose more than 30 pounds. "I've been working hard and trying to stay in shape, and continuing to try to copy some of her great work ethic and health and wellness practices," he said last April.
Rodriguez, the 49-year-old former Yankees star, took in the game courtside with Jaclyn Cordeiro, a fitness coach whom he's been linked to since 2022.
But earlier this month, Taylor agreed not to appeal an arbitrators' ruling from February that ruled in favor of Rodriguez and Lore and will transfer full ownership of the Timberwolves and the WNBA's Lynx, ESPN reported.
