The 35-year-old stated last season he wants to stay with the Dodgers for the remainder of his career, and wants to play in MLB for a few more seasons."

After underperforming for the first month of the regular season, the slugger discovered his form at the end of April and carried his momentum through May. He hit five homers and tallied 26 RBIs in May, capping the month off with a two-homer, seven-RBI performance against the New York Yankees at home. He had an even better month of June, hitting seven homers with 24 RBIs and posting a 1.113 OPS throughout the month."
