Jack Dreyer, Dodgers Visit Students At Nora Sterry Elementary
Briefly

The 2025 Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour aims to uplift communities impacted by wildfires, highlighted by Jack Dreyer's visit to Nora Sterry Elementary. Here, Dreyer engaged with students from Marquez Charter Elementary, which suffered destruction in the Pacific Palisades wildfire. Dodgers leadership and players like Mookie Betts, who donated apparel, and others who organized a successful auction, reinforce the team's commitment to ongoing fire recovery efforts. The Dodgers Foundation has also pledged up to $100 million to support LA Rises, demonstrating their dedication to the community's recovery and resilience.
It was a great experience, the kids were excellent at interacting with me, and I had a great time. They made it a very fun experience.
The organization is going to continue efforts beyond that week to support those impacted by the Southern California wildfires.
The auction sold for $414,000, with all proceeds going to relief efforts for victims of the Los Angeles fires.
Mark Walter and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation are donating up to $100 million to LA Rises.
