Dustin May Reacts to Dodgers Winning World Series After Trade to Red Sox
""I played with the guys for a long time," May said before the MLB Awards show. "They were all my boys. It was definitely very fun to watch.""
""Those are things that you can never take away from somebody," he said. "I wasn't in the playoffs with them, but I played with them for four and a half months or however long it was. So I definitely helped and contributed for them to get there.""
The Los Angeles Dodgers won the 2025 World Series and will send rings to all players who contributed during the season. Dustin May was traded to the Boston Red Sox at the trade deadline in exchange for outfielders James Tibbs III and Zach Ehrhard but remains eligible for a ring. May began his Dodgers career in 2019 and was part of the 2020 championship. He missed 2024 with injury, made a career-high 19 appearances in 2025, posted a 4.85 ERA through 104 innings with 97 strikeouts, and delivered scoreless starts against Atlanta and Minnesota.
