"Yeah, I think he's been put in a very difficult situation being his first year coming back from a rehab and switching to a reliever role, so I think in a sense, I'm very impressed with how reliable he has been,"

Roki Sasaki has emerged as a pivotal high-leverage reliever for the Los Angeles Dodgers during the postseason. He closed out Game 2 of the Wild Card against the Reds and recorded two MLB saves on the road versus the Phillies. In Game 4 against Philadelphia he retired all nine batters over three innings. Sasaki struggled as a starter earlier in the season, posting a 4.72 ERA before a shoulder impingement landed him on the injured list. A minor delivery adjustment during rehab facilitated a move to the bullpen, where he provided scoreless relief late in the regular season and became a trusted postseason weapon. He allowed his first postseason run in NLCS Game 1 versus the Brewers.
