Tyler Glasnow has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to right shoulder inflammation following his short outing on April 27. Manager Dave Roberts mentioned the potential need for an MRI, expressing the goal of ensuring Glasnow can pitch effectively without discomfort. The injuries have left Glasnow frustrated after being restricted in multiple starts this season. Noah Davis is recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City as Glasnow's replacement, despite his previous struggles in the Major League.
"It's certainly a possibility," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. "We've got to get him to a place where we feel, he feels, that when he takes the mound he can go out there and be the guy he's capable of being."
The injuries have caused Glasnow to become frustrated as he searches for answers.
Glasnow has now been limited in three starts this season. He came unglued against the Philadelphia Phillies on April 6 - largely due to rainy weather - and left his last two outings because of injury.
Noah Davis replaces Tyler Glasnow on Dodgers roster. Davis re-joins the club after being optioned on April 26 to make room for Yoendrys Gómez.
