Dodgers Notes: Alex Vesia Announces Personal News, Dave Roberts Talks Dynasty, More
"Our little angel we love you forever & you're with us always. Our beautiful daughter went to heaven Sunday October 26th."
"We've put together something pretty special, I do know that. I'm proud of the players for the fans, scouting, player development, all the stuff. To do what we've done in this span of time is pretty remarkable. I guess let the pundits and all the fans talk about if it's a dynasty or not, but I'm pretty happy with where we're at."
"Suck it! Does 3x World Series Champ sound better than Triple Champ?"
Alex Vesia missed the World Series for a personal matter. He and his wife Kayla announced their daughter, Sterling Sol Vesia, passed away on October 26. Dodgers Nation offered prayers to Alex and Kayla. Manager Dave Roberts said the Dodgers have put together something special and expressed pride in the players, fans, scouting and player development. Roberts called the team’s accomplishments in this span of time remarkable and said pundits and fans can decide whether the team is a dynasty. Kiké Hernández responded to Ariel Helwani, Justin Wrobleski was nearly ejected in Game 7, and Shohei Ohtani praised Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
