"It's awesome. It was really fun and exciting to be there and to experience that with both our families and everyone there. We have a good support group back home, taking care of everyone. It's been a lot of fun. I was only home for a few days, but glad I got some time with them."
"A lot of potential, but we've got to see what we've got. As long as he's healthy and growing right now, that's all I can ask for. We'll get to the baseball in a few years."
Kyle Tucker, recently signed outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, took personal leave to be present for the birth of his first son with wife Samantha. Tucker expressed joy about experiencing the birth with both families and their support system. When asked about his son's potential baseball future, Tucker remained open but focused on health and development first. His brother Preston plays Major League Baseball, creating a family baseball legacy. Multiple Dodgers players are currently experiencing similar life milestones, with several teammates recently having children or expecting them, including Max Muncy, Kike Hernandez, Freddie Freeman, and Mookie Betts.
