""He had cramps in the fifth, in the sixth," Roberts said. "He hasn't thrown that many pitches in a month, so I felt that with the cramps, we pushed him as far as I wanted to push him right there.""
""Probably at the end of the third-ish inning, or beginning of the fourth," Glasnow said. "I just tried to put it out of my mind. It didn't affect anything. ... I didn't think about it too much and it was fine.""
Tyler Glasnow exited Game 4 of the NLDS after six innings and 83 pitches due to cramping in the fifth and sixth innings. Manager Dave Roberts cited Glasnow's recent low pitch volume and the cramps as the reason for removing him when he did. Glasnow said he first felt cramps around the end of the third or the start of the fourth but tried to ignore them and felt they did not affect his outing. Glasnow recorded six shutout innings with two hits, three walks, eight strikeouts, and 83 pitches. Emmet Sheehan allowed a run in the seventh, and the Dodgers ultimately won in the 11th on a walk-off error.
