""There's been a lot of postseason games. And there's a reason why he's the greatest player on the planet. "What he did on the mound, what he did at the bat, he created a lot of memories for a lot of people. So for us to have a game-clinching - to do it in a game-clinching game at home, wins the NLCS MVP, pretty special. I'm just happy to be able to go along for the ride.""
""I've seen a lot of games here at Dodger Stadium and that's not even close. It's the farthest ball I've ever seen hit. It's kind of funny. There wasn't one person in the dugout that didn't think he was going to hit a home run. He hits the second one and we're all talking, 'Is this the single greatest game anyone has ever played?' Everyone at the same time just said, 'You know he's going to hit another one.'""
Shohei Ohtani produced a historic postseason performance, hitting three home runs and striking out 10 batters across six shutout innings. The effort came in the Dodgers' Game 4 win over the Brewers and clinched the NLCS. Manager Dave Roberts called it "probably the greatest postseason performance of all time" and called Ohtani the greatest player on the planet. Ohtani led off with a first-inning homer, hit a 469-foot second homer in the fourth that cleared the right field pavilion, and added a third homer in the seventh. Teammate Max Muncy said the second shot was the farthest ball he had ever seen hit.
