Dodgers 5, Padres 4: A sweep behind Mookie Betts' game-winning homer in the 9th
Briefly

The Dodgers took an early lead against the Padres, with strong performances from their hitters, particularly Freddie Freeman and Andy Pages. Tyler Glasnow pitched effectively despite facing challenges from the Padres' offense. While the Padres managed to close the gap with a homer and consistent hits, timely defensive plays helped the Dodgers maintain their lead. Mookie Betts hit a crucial late home run to ensure a narrow win and a series sweep for the Dodgers.
After a clean 4th, the 5th began with a Ramon Laureano homer to cut the lead to 4-2. A one-out single and a two-out bloop double put the tying run in scoring position all of a sudden, but Alex Freeland caught a soft liner that one-hopped him to get out of the mess.
Thankfully, Mookie Betts came to the rescue with a late homer, and the Dodgers clung on for a 5-4 victory and a sweep!
