Report: Cameron Brink expected to return to Sparks in June
Briefly

Cameron Brink, rookie player for the LA Sparks, suffered an ACL injury, ending her 2024 season after just 15 games. Despite the setback, she became an integral part of the team and garnered a fanbase due to her elite defense. Recent updates indicate that Brink is rehabilitating effectively under expert supervision and may return to play by June, aligning with conventional recovery timelines for ACL injuries. Her return is crucial for the Sparks, as she has significant capabilities, including impressive season averages in scoring, rebounds, and blocks.
Checking in with her and her people today, she said she's doing really well in rehab. She is so blessed to be working with some of the best in the business, Susan Borchardt and Curtis Borchardt of The Athlete Blueprint.
Sources close to the Sparks have told me she is likely to return around June before the All-Star break.
If Brink returns even right before the All-Star break, that should give her 22-plus games to play before the regular season comes to a close.
Brink averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.3 blocks per game, making her the second-best shot blocker in the WNBA.
