During the announcement at Star Wars Celebration 2025, a trailer was revealed, showcasing Maul's pursuit of an apprentice, a quintessential trait of the Sith. Sam Witwer will reprise his role as Maul, contributing to the script development, with the series slated to premiere on Disney Plus in 2026.
