Juventus Women beat Milan to clinch Serie A Femminile title
Briefly

Juventus Women, under new manager Max Canzi, entered the 2024-25 season facing skepticism due to a reshuffled roster. However, they dominated the title race, culminating in a decisive 2-0 victory over AC Milan that secured their sixth Serie A Femminile title, and their first since 2021. Cristiana Girelli starred, scoring both goals, further contributing to her impressive season total of 19 goals, as Juve outpaced second-place Inter by 13 points. This victory also symbolically avenged their previous season loss to Roma, who had disrupted Juve's five-year title streak.
Thanks to a pair of goals from Cristiana Girelli right before halftime and then less than two minutes into the second half, Juventus Women beat AC Milan 2-0 on Friday night in Biella to clinch the club's sixth Scudetto and first in three years.
With four games to go in the Poule Scudetto, the title race is officially over - and Juve are back to being the best that Italy has to offer.
The first goal came from the penalty spot in the 45th minute to give Juve a 1-0 lead right before the half.
