Andrea Cambiaso to miss Lazio clash with thigh injury
Briefly

Andrea Cambiaso faces yet another injury setback during the second half of the 2024-25 season, adding to his ongoing ankle issues. In Sunday night's match against Bologna, he provided an assist before pulling up due to new thigh pain. Subsequent medical tests confirmed an elongation of the rectus femoris muscle in his left thigh, ruling him out for at least a week and possibly more, jeopardizing his presence in critical upcoming games as Juventus seeks a top-four finish in Serie A.
Juventus announced less than 24 hours after Cambiaso was forced off injured in the second half of the 1-1 draw with Bologna that tests revealed 'an elongation of the rectus femoris of the left thigh.' Cambiaso will miss at least a week due to his new thigh injury.
The two things that are of note here are the things to do with any sort of timetable: Cambiaso will be out for at least a week. Further tests to 'define the exact recovery time' could very well mean Cambiaso is going to be out for one or maybe even both of Juve's remaining games after they face Lazio.
