"Quarkus 3.30.6, the sixth maintenance release, delivers notable changes such as: a resolution to a NullPointerException due to a shutdown-time failure in the Quarkus JDK Flight Recorder extension upon emitting runtime information; and removal of the official LZ4 Java project (org.lz4:lz4-java) in favor of the fork maintained by Jonas Konrad, Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle (at.yawk.lz4:lz4-java), as the former was discontinued in late 2025. Several Java projects published maintenance and point releases the week of January 5, 2026. Early-access builds for JDK 26 (Build 30) and JDK 27 (Build 4) were released with fixes; developers are encouraged to report bugs via the Java Bug Database. Spring gRPC 1.0.1 provides bug fixes, dependency upgrades, clearer tracing error messages, and enables use of SecurityContextHolder.getContext() with gRPC-specific Kotlin coroutines.
