JEP 496 delivered a module-lattice-based key encapsulation mechanism in JDK 24. Oracle released JDK versions 25.0.2, 21.0.10, 17.0.18, 11.0.30 and 8u481 as part of the January 2026 Critical Patch Update. Build 32 of JDK 26 and Build 6 of JDK 27 early-access builds were published with various fixes. GlassFish Grizzly 5.0.0 reached GA with a JDK 21 baseline and virtual thread support. Payara Platform published its January 2026 edition. Liberica JDK, GraalVM, OpenXava and Ktor received maintenance updates.
