"Concurrent with Oracle's Critical Patch Update (CPU) for October 2025, BellSoft has released CPU patches for versions 25.0.0.0.1, 21.0.8.0.1, 17.0.16.0.1, 11.0.28.0.1, 8u471, 7u481 and 6u481 of Liberica JDK, their downstream distribution of OpenJDK, to address this list of CVEs. In addition, Patch Set Update (PSU) versions 25.0.1, 21.0.9, 17.0.17, 11.0.29 and 8u472, containing CPU and non-critical fixes, have also been released. With an overall total of 687 fixes and backports, BellSoft states they have participated in eliminating 13 issues in all releases."
Oracle released JDK versions 25.0.1, 21.0.9, 17.0.17, 11.0.29 and 8u471 as part of the October 2025 Critical Patch Update. Build 21 of JDK 26 early-access is available with fixes from Build 20 and developers are encouraged to report bugs via the Java Bug Database. BellSoft published CPU patches and PSU updates for multiple Liberica JDK versions, delivering 687 fixes and backports and addressing 13 identified issues. Spring delivered first release candidates across many projects. Apache Grails 7.0.0 reached GA with bug fixes and new features. Additional point releases arrived for Micronaut, Hazelcast, LangChain4j and OpenXava, and Open Liberty released a November 2025 beta.
