"INSANELY publicity-shy"
"many of their execs in the USA are on green cards."
The Pokémon Company International confirmed that it did not grant permission for the Pokémon anime theme song to be used in a video posted by the White House and the Department of Homeland Security. The company stated that the clip included imagery and language associated with its brand, but that the company was not involved in creating or distributing the content and did not authorize use of its intellectual property. Fans urged the company to sue the U.S. government over the usage. A former chief legal officer characterized a lawsuit as highly unlikely, calling the company "INSANELY publicity-shy" and noting "many of their execs in the USA are on green cards."
