The affected Order Information Distribution System contained data from 17,891 business customers, including possible company names, contact names, and contact information. Although hackers were locked out on February 6, an investigation revealed their continued presence in NTT's network until February 15. Notably, NTT communicated the incident minimally and did not provide personal notifications to affected customers, which raises concerns about transparency and customer service during the breach.
On Feb. 6, we confirmed that information may have been leaked to the outside world, prompting concerns regarding the exposure of data from 17,891 business customers.
This incident is remarkable because of the limited communication from the company; NTT reported the leak only through the company website, indicating affected customers will not receive a personal message.
