Star Wars: Visions is returning in October - and getting a spinoff series

Disney Plus' Visions animated series, despite the larger Star Wars franchise's mixed reception, has thrived with two successful seasons. Anticipation is high for its upcoming third volume, premiering on October 29, 2025, featuring three continuation storylines from earlier episodes. Notably, "The Ninth Jedi" will receive a spinoff. Produced by various Japanese creative teams, the new volume promises fresh perspectives and greater narrative depth with plans for additional spinoffs down the line, offering fans a richer connection to the Star Wars universe.
The anthology series will see three storylines from previous episodes continue in this third volume - not only that, but Visions Volume 1 episode "The Ninth Jedi" is getting its own spinoff series.
Volume 3's stories are produced by different Japanese creative teams. Studios Kamikaze Douga, Kinema Citrus Co., Production IG, and Trigger are all returning to Visions.
