
Ethan Hawke filmed season two of “The Lowdown” until 1am in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then flew to attend a “For Your Consideration” Emmys event in Hollywood. He plays Lee Raybon, a rare book dealer and writer committed to exposing corruption in Tulsa. Season one followed Lee’s exposé on the Washberg family and Dale Washberg’s suspicious suicide, placing Lee in danger from powerful figures. Hawke is also an executive producer and said filming is underway. The cast adds Betty Gilpin, Austin Amelio, Martha Plimpton, Clifton Collins, Jr., and Tommy Lee Jones. The creator Sterlin Harjo said season two raises stakes through Lee’s intersecting personal life and job dangers.
