Joey Avery returns to his home club at the San Jose Improv on Tuesday, December 23 at 8pm with a $25 ticket. A Los Gatos native, Avery advanced from local shows to regional, national, and international stages. He gained early attention as one of the first comics to go viral on YouTube and produces city-specific promotional videos. Avery combines bright intensity and skilled crowdwork, often turning hecklers into allies. The show will take place at The Improv in San Jose and showcases a comedian with the stage presence and look to move into larger-screen opportunities.
