"Fluid510 is a nearly 5,000 square foot performance venue in Uptown Oakland, created by Oakland community leaders Richard Fuentes and Sean Sullivan, best known for transforming The Port Bar into a destination for the LGBTQIA+ community and queer people of color across the Bay Area. The venue features a state of the art sound and lighting system including QSC Pro Audio speakers, dual projectors, and immersive lighting."
Black History Month Comedy Festival runs Fridays and Saturdays at Fluid510 in Uptown Oakland through March 7. Shows feature rotating lineups of rising Black comedians, Bay Area pros, and special guests. Each performance presents four to five comedians delivering a 70+ minute comedy showcase with credits including Cobb's Comedy Club, Punch Line SF, SF Sketchfest, Don't Tell Comedy, The Improv, and the San Francisco Comedy Competition. Bryant Hicks hosts and performs regularly with Jerrod Carmichael, Ali Wong, and Dave Chappelle. Fluid510 is a nearly 5,000-square-foot venue with professional sound and lighting, rotating art by artists of color, a full bar, cocktails, and elevated bar food.
