The Ritual is a weekly improvised comedy seance performed by a group of degenerates and misfits. The show is comically evil, gut-wrenchingly funny, and features a tinge of fuckery. Audience members may sit and watch or volunteer to participate; volunteers only. Five times per show the performers draw random topics and solicit fun, embarrassing, awkward, or cringeworthy personal stories as sacrifices to complete the pentagram. The show runs Fridays at 10:15pm at Endgames Improv Theater & Bar, 2965 Mission St., near 24th Street BART. Drinks are available; food is pre-packaged and only concessions may be consumed in the theater. A FUNCHEAP code saves $5 and tickets are all-in with no extra fees or drink minimum; event details can change and should be double-checked with the organizer.
