Researchers found a 20 cm Roman phallus carved from bone in the Valkhof Museum, Nijmegen. This is the only known Roman phallus made of organic material. Gelderland province allocated 8 million to document and unpack 16,000 boxes of archaeological finds over six years. The first 300 boxes revealed exceptional Roman artifacts, including luxury earthenware cups and bowls, and a drinking cup with a face, all dating back 2,000-1,800 years.
