The Stephen H. Weiss Teaching Awards honor faculty for sustained commitment and excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring. The Provost Award for Teaching Excellence in Graduate and Professional Degree Programs honors faculty who excel in teaching and academic advising in master's, Ph.D., D.V.M., and J.D. programs. Both awards require nominations, letters of support from faculty and students, and supporting documentation. Awardees exemplify high standards of teaching and mentorship, fuel student academic growth, shape students to think critically and act ethically, and include Stephen H. Weiss Presidential Fellows Kyle Lancaster and David Yearsley.
