Demond Williams Jr., a 19-year-old Washington quarterback, entered the transfer portal on Jan. 6 then withdrew two days later, calling the decision a mistake resulting from bad advice. His name, image and likeness deal exceeded $4 million, and Washington reportedly prepared legal options to enforce the contract. Coach Jedd Fisch described the situation as being in "limbo for 48 hours." Williams expressed gratitude that teammates and coaches accepted him back and declined to comment on reported LSU interest.
