A Quinnipiac University survey reveals that while nearly 75 percent of Americans believe teaching AI in colleges is important, only 42 percent think students will use AI to enhance learning. Additionally, 47 percent believe students may use AI to avoid learning. Surprisingly, younger generations, who are more familiar with AI, are more skeptical about its educational benefits. About 58 percent of 18- to 34-year-olds think students will use AI to evade learning, compared to 35 percent of those aged 65 and older. The survey included 1,210 adults.
