""Skip the debt. Skip the indoctrination.""
""Everything you learned at your school and college about how the world works is intellectually incorrect,""
Palantir launched the Meritocracy Fellowship in April: a four-month, paid internship for recent high-school graduates not enrolled in college. The program required Ivy League-level test scores and drew over 500 applicants, selecting 22 teenagers. Fellows studied U.S. history and foundations of the West while working alongside Palantir employees on technical problems and product improvements. Palantir supplies defense-related software to agencies including ICE and the U.S. Army. Participants who forgo undergraduate degrees and "excel" in the program can interview for salaried roles. CEO Alex Karp framed the program as an alternative to traditional higher education.
