Kyle Green has been named the head men's basketball coach at Northern Iowa after serving five years on Iowa State's staff. He has over 30 years of coaching experience and previously assisted at UNI during successful periods, including NCAA tournament runs. Green expressed deep personal ties to UNI, emphasizing its significance to his family and his respect for the program's history and past coaches. He has also held head coaching positions at Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Lewis University, and Western Colorado. UNI had a successful season, winning the Missouri Valley tournament.
