Michael I. Kotlikoff will give the commencement address at both the morning and afternoon ceremonies, and both ceremonies will be livestreamed. The livestreams will include the procession of graduates, beginning one hour before each ceremony. Cornell’s 158th graduating class includes more than 8,000 students across undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. Approximately 6,000 students will participate in person, with 3,000 in each ceremony. Graduates will sit in chairs on the field grouped by degree-conferring college, while guests will sit in Schoellkopf Crescent stadium. Tickets are required for guests and are provided to graduates for distribution. Degree candidates will rise when instructed, and Kotlikoff will confer degrees en masse. Stadium gates open at 8 a.m. for the morning ceremony and at 12:30 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony, with academic processions starting at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., respectively.
