Anthony Campbell will begin as chief of the Harvard University Police Department on Jan. 5. He currently serves as chief of police and associate director of public safety at Yale, overseeing more than 90 officers and 30 civilian staff. He has prioritized officer professional development, access to quality training and technology, and personal well-being. Campbell joined Yale Police Department in 2019 as assistant chief for operations for the division of patrol, coordinating public safety for major events and supervising community engagement officers.
