
Harvard degree holders elected seven alumni to leadership roles in the University and the Harvard Alumni Association. Five new members were elected to six-year terms on the Board of Overseers, and two additional members were elected to complete terms left vacant by Sylvia Mathews Burwell and Vikas Sukhatme. The new Overseers begin their roles on May 29. Six alumni were elected to the board of directors of the Harvard Alumni Association, with terms starting July 1. A nominating committee selected nine candidates for the Board of Overseers, and Harvard degree holders cast 31,818 ballots. The Board of Overseers is a governing board established in 1642 and directs the visitation process for external assessment of Harvard’s schools and departments.

Harvard degree holders cast a total of 31,818 ballots in the election."
