"The nonprofit healthcare provider plans to spend $800 million on the development of a West Santa Clara Campus and an East Santa Clara Campus near Levi Stadium and the Great America theme park. Sutter is creating what it describes as "flagship" campuses in Silicon Valley. Both medical hubs are on Mission College Boulevard near Great America Parkway, just north of U.S. Highway 101."
"The health care firm held a formal ribbon-cutting on Monday to mark the opening of the first building in its East Santa Clara campus, a medical office at 2441 Mission College Blvd. "It's a beautiful building, and it has a warm, soothing and healing environment," said Teresa Sarlitto, a Sutter Health vice president for Silicon Valley ambulatory operations and facilities planning. "We want our patients, physicians and staff to be able to enjoy that environment.""
"The medical hub at 2441 Mission College is slated to open to patients on Oct. 20. It totals roughly 103,000 square feet, Sutter officials stated. The eastern campus will total 300,000 square feet and focus on comprehensive primary care, primary and specialty pediatric care, and adult and pediatric urgent care. It will feature an advanced diagnostic lab as well as specialty clinics such as cardiology, neurology, urology, endocrinology and more. Sutter is leasing the three-building eastern campus from the Sobrato Organization."
