Pulse Radiology Education was founded in 2015 by Neil Huber, a radiologic technologist who identified a critical gap in professional advancement pathways. Traditional training required rigid schedules and full-time classroom attendance, preventing working technologists from pursuing certifications while managing jobs, families, and finances. Huber created a hybrid model combining structured online education with in-person clinical training, allowing students to study at their own pace. A major innovation was establishing partnerships with clinical sites, removing the significant barrier of securing hands-on training placements. The organization now partners with over 1,300 clinical affiliates across MRI, CT, and Mammography specialties. In 2020, Pulse expanded by launching Pulse Radiology Institute in Florida, offering an ARMRIT-accredited MRI Associate's Degree with clinical placement.
