Maimonides Health adopts ORBEYE Exoscope system for surgeries
Briefly

Maimonides Health has become the first hospital in Brooklyn to adopt the ORBEYE™ EXOSCOPE system, revolutionizing surgical procedures by providing high-resolution 3D anatomical images without traditional microscope eyepieces. This system allows viewing at up to 26x magnification on a large 55-inch 4K-3D monitor. It is designed to decrease surgeon fatigue, enhance patient safety, and is particularly beneficial in pediatric and spinal surgeries. The technology will be incorporated into all neurological and specialty surgeries at Maimonides Health immediately.
Maimonides Health has become the first hospital in Brooklyn to adopt the ORBEYE™ EXOSCOPE system for use during surgical procedures.
The ORBEYE enables the surgical team to view high-resolution 3D anatomical digital images at up to 26x magnification on a 55-inch 4K-3D monitor.
The ergonomic display improves surgeon safety and reduces fatigue, especially during pediatric and spinal surgeries.
Dr. Roee Ber stated, 'Using the ORBEYE has changed the way I operate...allowing the entire room to align, thus improving teamwork, efficiency, and safety.'
