The facility can serve more than 30,000 children annually and contains 32 treatment areas, including four resuscitation areas and isolation rooms. On-site diagnostic imaging includes X-ray, ultrasound, and CT for rapid emergency diagnosis. The PED is the only pediatric trauma center in Brooklyn and one of 13 in New York State.
