The addition features specialized units including an eight-bed pediatric unit, a 23-bed orthopedic and neurological unit, and an eight-bed physical rehabilitation unit. The project also incorporates private patient rooms, an enlarged obstetrics unit, and expanded outpatient and emergency room services. Completion is scheduled for summer 1993. Prior to the main addition, the hospital constructed a three-story parking complex and opened a center for open-heart surgery.
