Sutter Health preps patient visits at big new South Bay medical campus
"SANTA CLARA Sutter Health is ready to launch patient care in one of several buildings that will be part of two vast Santa Clara medical hubs the health services organization is planning in the South Bay. The nonprofit healthcare provider plans to spend $800 million on the development of a West Santa Clara Campus and an East Santa Clara Campus near Levi Stadium and the Great America theme park. The two campuses will total a combined 1 million square feet."
"The eastern campus will total 300,000 square feet and focus on comprehensive primary care, primary and specialty pediatric care, and adult and pediatric urgent care. It will feature an advanced diagnostic lab as well as specialty clinics such as cardiology, neurology, urology, endocrinology and more. Sutter is leasing the three-building eastern campus from the Sobrato Organization. The medical hub at 2441 Mission College is slated to open to patients on Oct. 20. It totals roughly 103,000 square feet, Sutter officials stated. The first of the specialty clinics is due to open sometime in 2026, Sutter Health stated."
