Davina McCall found a lump a few weeks earlier that initially came and went before becoming persistent. She obtained a biopsy that confirmed breast cancer and underwent a lumpectomy nearly three weeks ago to remove the tumor. The cancer was very small and detected early. Her lymph nodes were clear and none were removed. She will receive five days of radiotherapy in January as an insurance measure. She experienced anger upon diagnosis but now feels more positive and relieved that the cancer has not spread.
