'Really happy and proud' - No complaints for Thymen Arensman after losing Tour of the Alps lead on final day
Briefly

Thymen Arensman finished the Tour of the Alps with a commendable second place overall, losing the lead to Michael Storer on the final day. Despite not retaining his lead after a strong solo performance on stage 4, Arensman celebrated his first win in over two years and a solid overall standing as he prepares for the Giro d'Italia. He expressed pride in his performance and acknowledged Storer's strength in the race, emphasizing the strong teamwork supporting their respective efforts.
I think overall I'm really proud of this week and this performance. A stage victory and second in GC is not bad, especially in this race.
Michael was also just on another level, so I can be really happy and proud of my second place.
Boasting a strong team effort, Storer was able to grab back the race lead, attacking off the back of a full Tudor lead-out on the penultimate climb.
I think I did an amazing climb when he attacked, but he was just a little bit stronger, so it is what it is.
