Munich Airport suspended all operations for the second consecutive day after further unconfirmed drone sightings in the vicinity. Both runways were initially blocked at 9.34 p.m. as a precaution and later fully closed until further notice, prompting many incoming flights to be diverted to Stuttgart. Earlier, a drone was reported over a German Bundeswehr facility in Erding northeast of Munich. The Bundeswehr confirmed the sighting, while investigations into any link between the military sighting and airport disruptions remain ongoing. Thursday's operations were also disrupted by drone activity, marking repeated incidents over 24 hours.
