German Health Minister Nina Warken rejected as baseless claims that more than a thousand German physicians and thousands of their patients faced prosecution for issuing mask or vaccine exemptions during the coronavirus pandemic. US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr posted a video alleging prosecutions and said he had written a letter asking her to "restore medical autonomy" and "end politically motivated prosecutions." Warken said no obligation ever existed for doctors to carry out COVID-19 vaccinations, that doctors who declined for medical, ethical or personal reasons were not criminally liable, and that prosecutions occurred only for fraud or forgery of documents.
