Microsoft is renaming its X account to XBOX after a poll asked whether Microsoft should use Xbox or XBOX. The change follows earlier moves that returned the Xbox brand to an all-caps style consistent with original Xbox console logos and later console branding. The rebranding is occurring alongside other recent Xbox-focused updates, including the renaming of Microsoft’s gaming division back to Xbox and changes to Game Pass pricing. Microsoft has also introduced a new Xbox logo and a new boot up animation. Organizational changes aim to build an affordable, personal, and open platform by staying close to the people served.
"The reorganization of the Xbox platform team is designed to "build a platform that is affordable, personal, and open by staying close to the work and the people we serve," according to Sharma."
