Where To Find Spine Cores In Hollow Knight: Silksong For Flexile Spine Wish
"These enemies are called Hokers. However, instead of focusing on killing these enemies, your goal is to harvest their spikes. Each time you hit them, they'll fire off spikes that will stick to nearby surfaces. You can then strike these spikes to make them drop an orb containing a Spine Core. Do this 25 times, and you'll have everything you need."
"Each Hoker can take three hits before they die. The trick to getting the most bang for your buck is to hit them one time and wait for them to regenerate spikes again. If you hit them before they regenerate spikes, you'll ultimately end up with fewer Spine Cores from that Hoker. Make sure you hit the spikes stuck on surfaces, then pick up the Spine Cores."
Spine Cores are collected by harvesting spikes fired by enemies called Hokers, which resemble floating white balls with green beards and spikes. When struck, Hokers fire spikes that stick to nearby surfaces; striking those spikes drops an orb containing a Spine Core. Twenty-five Spine Cores complete the Flexile Spine Wish assigned by the Seamstress in the Far Fields. Each Hoker can sustain three hits, but the optimal method is to hit once and wait for spike regeneration to maximize cores. Spikes vanish after a few moments, so rapid collection is necessary. Returning the cores rewards the Drifter's Coat, granting a post-jump glide and access to air currents.
