"Super ZSNES has been rewritten from scratch with a focus on a GPU-powered 'Super Enhancement Engine,' which allows for high resolution playback, overclocking, widescreen support, uncompressed audio and 3D height maps for Mode 7 graphics."
"Super ZSNES is built on 'far more accurate CPU and Audio cores' than the original emulator, as well as the usual fast forward/rewind save states and a higher-resolution version of the original ZSNES UI."
"The GPU upgrades in Super ZSNES seem to do a great job of modernizing classic games like Super Mario World for modern displays, while still maintaining the SNES charm."
Super ZSNES has been released after 20 years, developed by zsKnight and Demo. It features a GPU-powered Super Enhancement Engine for high-resolution playback, overclocking, widescreen support, uncompressed audio, and 3D height maps. The emulator is built on more accurate CPU and audio cores than its predecessor, with fast forward, rewind, and save states. Users can disable enhancement features if desired. Super ZSNES is available for Windows, Mac, and Android, with an iOS version coming soon. Early footage shows sharp graphics while preserving the original SNES feel.
