"20 years ago, in 2005, the very first Yakuza game launched on PS2. Since then, there have been over a dozen entries in the franchise, including remasters, re-releases, spin-offs, and even a weird non-canonical entry featuring zombies. And (almost) all of those games are currently on sale on Steam as part of a big Yakuza franchise sale that ends on October 23."
"I say almost, because the zombies spin-off, Yakuza Dead Souls, isn't included as it has never been ported to PC. The other odd duck here is Yakuza 3 Remastered, which isn't on sale despite being included in the sales event page. Perhaps Sega made a mistake, and it will be marked down to $11 like most of the other Yakuza games in the sale. Who can say?"
Steam is running a major Yakuza/Like A Dragon franchise sale that ends on October 23, offering discounts on most mainline games, remasters, re-releases, and spin-offs. Many individual titles are priced around $10–$21, while the Complete Series Bundle (0–6) is reduced to $77. Yakuza Dead Souls is not included because it has never been ported to PC, and Yakuza 3 Remastered currently appears at full price despite being listed in the event. New players are recommended to start with Yakuza 0, then play Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2 before continuing with later entries.
